00:01:00.512 --> 00:01:04.992
Her first trial ended with a guilty verdict and 215 years in prison.

00:01:16.207 --> 00:01:20.825
I'm good and I'm here to help unravel the stories that haunt us.
00:01:20.825 --> 00:01:28.448
Today we're diving into a heartbreaking case from Morgan County, indiana, the story of Judy D Kirby.
00:01:28.448 --> 00:01:36.134
On March 25, 2000, a single moment changed countless lives, leaving a trail of loss and questions.
00:01:36.134 --> 00:01:49.796
This story begins at 4.57 pm on a quiet evening at the intersection of Pumpkin Vine Hill Road and State Road 67, just north of Martinsville, indiana.
00:01:49.796 --> 00:01:57.667
If you're not from around here, it's a small town, the kind of place where neighbors know each other and life moves at a steady pace.
00:01:57.667 --> 00:02:19.467
By a horrific head-on collision between two vehicles, a white 1989 Pontiac Formula and a blue 1994 Plymouth van the impact was catastrophic, reducing both vehicles to mangled wrecks and leaving emergency responders with a scene they'd never forget.
00:02:20.128 --> 00:02:24.608
In the Pontiac we find Judy D Kirby, a 32-year-old mother of 10,.
00:02:24.608 --> 00:02:38.072
Behind the wheel With her were her four children her sons Johnny, 9, and Jacob, 5, and her daughter Jordan, who was 12 years old, and also her nephew Jeremy Young, 10, who was also celebrating his birthday that day.
00:02:38.072 --> 00:02:41.008
Tragically, all four children perished in that crash.
00:02:41.008 --> 00:02:43.306
Their lives cut short in an instant.
00:02:43.306 --> 00:02:45.539
Judy survived, but her injuries were severe and she was rushed to Methodist Hospital in that crash.
00:02:45.539 --> 00:02:45.620
Their lives cut short in an instant.
00:02:45.620 --> 00:02:49.194
Judy survived, but her injuries were severe and she was rushed to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
00:02:50.395 --> 00:02:55.008
I saw some of the wreckage of this actually from a good little distance.
00:02:55.008 --> 00:03:14.161
I was actually coming down southbound on Highway 67 that day and I saw lifeline helicopters flying into that area and probably I don't know maybe 20 or 30 cars in front of me was the wreckage, but people were crossing the highway and going the other way and it was.
00:03:14.161 --> 00:03:15.728
I mean you could just tell something bad happened.
00:03:15.728 --> 00:03:17.948
I had no idea that it was this bad.
00:03:17.948 --> 00:03:20.849
I mean you couldn't tell what the vehicles were from my vantage point.
00:03:21.221 --> 00:03:23.228
Wow, that's crazy that you've seen it.
00:03:23.228 --> 00:03:25.007
I remember it happened.
00:03:25.007 --> 00:03:28.627
My vantage point Wow, that's crazy that you've seen it.
00:03:28.627 --> 00:03:29.150
I remember it happened.
00:03:29.150 --> 00:03:33.522
I think I was a junior in high school or something like that whenever it happened, but I remember the news about it.
00:03:33.522 --> 00:03:35.164
It was crazy.
00:03:35.164 --> 00:03:47.362
Now, in the Plymouth van driven by Thomas M Reel, a 40-year-old truck driver and co-founder of Seedline Christian Ministries, the loss was equally devastating.
00:03:47.362 --> 00:03:54.235
Thomas, his daughter Jessica 14, and son Bradley 13, were killed on impact.
00:03:54.235 --> 00:04:08.223
A passenger, 13-year-old Richard Miller, survived but sustained life-altering injuries, including a compound shoulder fracture, a broken femur and multiple internal traumas.
00:04:08.223 --> 00:04:13.274
He, too, was taken to Methodist Hospital, listed in serious but stable condition.
00:04:13.860 --> 00:04:26.161
Now the scale of this tragedy seven lives lost, six of them children, sent shockwaves through Martinsville and beyond, emergency workers, hardened by the years of service, later admitting to having nightmares about the scene.
00:04:26.161 --> 00:04:36.273
The crash site, just north of Wilbur Road on State Road 67, became a somber landmark, marked by seven crosses that stand to this day as a memorial to the lives lost.
00:04:36.273 --> 00:04:40.100
Yeah, you can still see the crosses there.
00:04:40.100 --> 00:04:41.262
They are still there.
00:04:41.262 --> 00:04:41.682
I'll tell you what.
00:04:41.682 --> 00:04:42.101
They are still there.
00:04:42.101 --> 00:04:42.701
I'll tell you what.
00:04:42.701 --> 00:04:51.747
When they say it was four children and Judy Kirby, in that little Pontiac formula, it's like a Firebird formula.
00:04:51.747 --> 00:04:54.889
They're not very big on the inside.
00:04:54.889 --> 00:05:00.252
I mean the front seat usually has two bucket seats with a lift-up console in the middle of them.
00:05:00.252 --> 00:05:01.411
I had an 84 Firebird.
00:05:01.411 --> 00:05:02.612
There's no reason, I know this.
00:05:02.612 --> 00:05:05.714
And the back seat is barely big enough for.
00:05:06.095 --> 00:05:07.776
Is it like two bucket seats?
00:05:07.935 --> 00:05:08.795
Absolutely yes.
00:05:09.177 --> 00:05:12.098
Where nothing can really fit in the middle.
00:05:12.098 --> 00:05:14.386
Yeah, it's like only for four people.
00:05:14.708 --> 00:05:17.185
Absolutely Four people at best safely.
00:05:17.988 --> 00:05:21.867
Wow, and there was four kids and Judy Kirby in there, right.
00:05:21.887 --> 00:05:29.411
So she had three kids squashed in the back, which is a tight fit especially for a little bit older kids.
00:05:30.480 --> 00:05:32.528
Wow, I bet they were scared to death.
00:05:32.528 --> 00:05:41.149
Almost immediately, the Morgan County Sheriff's Department launched an exhaustive investigation led by Deputy Scott Hamilton.
00:05:41.149 --> 00:05:43.045
The evidence was chilling.
00:05:43.045 --> 00:05:54.982
Judy's Pontiac had been traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of State Road 67, a divided highway, at speeds estimated between 60 and 100 miles per hour.
00:05:54.982 --> 00:06:00.192
Witnesses reported no signs of braking or attempts to correct her course.
00:06:00.192 --> 00:06:07.052
The collision with Thomas Reel's van was head-on, with a force that left little chance of survival.
00:06:07.052 --> 00:06:20.259
Hamilton, along with coroner Brian Ringer and prosecutor Monte Kivitt, worked through the night meeting at Costin's Funeral Chapel at 2.15 am to piece together the events leading to this disaster.
00:06:20.680 --> 00:06:24.262
The investigation pointed to Judy as the catalyst for the tragedy.
00:06:24.262 --> 00:06:26.305
The investigation pointed to Judy as the catalyst for the tragedy.
00:06:26.305 --> 00:06:38.694
On April 14, 2000, hamilton filed an affidavit requesting for an arrest warrant charging Judy with seven counts of murder four counts of neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury and one count of aggravated battery.
00:06:38.694 --> 00:06:42.336
The question wasn't what just happened, but why.
00:06:42.336 --> 00:06:49.305
Was this a tragic accident, a moment of mental collapse or something way more deliberate?
00:06:49.305 --> 00:06:53.161
To understand, we need to step into Judy's world and the hours leading up to the crash.
00:06:54.625 --> 00:07:05.932
Now, judy Kirby was a complex figure, a mother of eight biological children and two adopted, navigating a life marked by personal struggles and fractured relationships.
00:07:05.932 --> 00:07:18.831
Born in 1968, she had been married to Victor Kirby, with whom she shared five children, including Jordan, joni and Jacob, who died in the crash.
00:07:18.831 --> 00:07:31.206
After their divorce, judy began a relationship with Tenny Kirby, father to her younger children, including Joshua, justin and Michael.
00:07:31.206 --> 00:07:42.788
Her nephew, jeremy Young, who she had taken under her care, was also part of her extended family and she looked after them for her sister, linda.
00:07:43.790 --> 00:07:52.649
You might notice that the children and the first two guys had the same last name, and that's because Tenny was actually Victor's uncle.
00:07:52.649 --> 00:07:58.052
Now, on March 25th in 2000, the day of the crash, Judy's actions seemed routine.
00:07:58.052 --> 00:07:58.512
At first.
00:07:58.512 --> 00:08:02.387
It was Jeremy's 10th birthday and she was determined to make it special.
00:08:02.387 --> 00:08:14.526
At 11 30 am she left her south side Indianapolis home in her Pontiac Firebird with Jeremy in tow, heading to her sister Janetta Scott's house in Acton to pick up Jordan, Joni and Jacob.
00:08:14.526 --> 00:08:22.591
By noon she arrived and around 2 pm she left with all four children planning to visit Toys R Us in Greenwood to buy a birthday gift for Jeremy.
00:08:22.591 --> 00:08:29.389
Janetta followed in her own car but lost track of Judy when she stopped in traffic on Southport Road around 2.30 pm.
00:08:29.389 --> 00:08:35.071
Unable to find her, Janetta returned home unaware of the tragedy unfolding.
00:08:36.073 --> 00:08:39.100
Now, judy's behavior that day raised red flags.
00:08:39.100 --> 00:08:44.865
Witnesses described her as erratic, driving at high speeds and weaving through traffic.
00:08:44.865 --> 00:08:47.408
Witnesses described her as erratic, driving at high speeds and weaving through traffic.
00:08:47.408 --> 00:08:57.336
Between 3 and 3.30 pm a man working in his yard on Ralston Road saw Judy stop her car briefly in front of his house, appearing disoriented.
00:08:57.336 --> 00:09:10.746
Now, at Valleybrook Mobile Home Park, about 40 minutes before the crash, resident Dan Owen saw her driving slowly, seemingly lost and unresponsive.
00:09:10.746 --> 00:09:12.770
And then there were two more witnesses.
00:09:12.770 --> 00:09:28.652
They reported seeing her at an intersection accepting a cordless phone from someone holding up traffic as if in a daze there was a couple different weird things that actually happened up in that trailer park.
00:09:28.720 --> 00:09:32.966
Where the guy said she seemed dazed, witnesses said that she had pulled up.
00:09:32.966 --> 00:09:40.792
They were having a baby shower at a clubhouse and they saw the white Pontiac pull up and they asked her hey, can we help you?
00:09:40.792 --> 00:09:44.410
Because nobody at the baby shower knew who she was or any of the children.
00:09:44.410 --> 00:09:58.879
At first I guess they thought she might have been one of the guests that they invited, that didn't show up or whatever, and they was asking her questions and all she said was she was looking to find a birthday party or she needed a birthday party.
00:09:58.879 --> 00:10:09.136
So they thought that she had the wrong clubhouse and they give her directions to the other clubhouse in the mobile home park and then she drove off and that was the last they heard from her there.
00:10:09.278 --> 00:10:10.520
That was the last they saw of her.
00:10:10.520 --> 00:10:16.923
Yeah, wow, her sister was following her and kind of wanting to make sure she was all right.
00:10:16.923 --> 00:10:20.779
I guess they were having conversations about this, that and the other.
00:10:20.779 --> 00:10:27.845
Her sister said that she had told Judy to take a shower and the police had asked her in an interview why did you tell her to take a shower?
00:10:27.845 --> 00:10:31.245
And she was like, well, just kind of change the subject and get her mind off things.
00:10:31.245 --> 00:10:51.513
Her sister was following her in her car and they had went to the car wash and after they left the car wash they come up to an intersection and her sister, janetta, actually thought Judy was having car problems and could, because she just paused, like in an intersection, and she had drove around her like she was in a daze.
00:10:51.693 --> 00:10:58.708
Yeah exactly Like you said drove around her and then, when her sister drove around her, Judy Kirby took off and basically just lost her.
00:11:00.421 --> 00:11:02.488
And she didn't see her anymore after that.
00:11:02.749 --> 00:11:03.230
That's right.
00:11:03.660 --> 00:11:04.565
She couldn't find her.
00:11:04.565 --> 00:11:12.214
I think she went to, drove to a few different department stores and ended up at the Walmart and she was gone.
00:11:13.600 --> 00:11:19.625
Her sister had said she was just following her to make sure she made it home safely, so obviously she was a little bit worried.
00:11:19.767 --> 00:11:20.730
Something was going on.
00:11:20.860 --> 00:11:21.941
Absolutely Now.
00:11:21.941 --> 00:11:24.163
The final moments before the crash were harrowing.
00:11:24.163 --> 00:11:35.797
Witnesses along State Road 67 painted a consistent picture of Judy's Pontiac speeding northbound in the southbound lanes, ignoring the wrong way signs and median turnarounds.
00:11:35.797 --> 00:11:46.961
Steve Porter, stacking wood near his home, heard an unusual engine noise and saw Judy's car veer into oncoming traffic, striking Rill's van with explosive force.
00:11:46.961 --> 00:11:55.005
Eva Wrangler, a passenger in another vehicle, described the Pontiac as flying up the exit ramp packed with children.
00:11:55.005 --> 00:12:01.905
Amy Davis, traveling with Wrangler, had to swerve to avoid a collision narrowing, escaping disaster.
00:12:02.246 --> 00:12:11.948
I bet what she means by that exit ramp is there's like a little pull-off section right before you get to where you can go into Lake Edgewood.
00:12:12.048 --> 00:12:12.770
Absolutely yes.
00:12:12.899 --> 00:12:21.426
And it's not really an exit ramp but it's a piece of shoulder you can pull off onto and that's like midway.
00:12:21.426 --> 00:12:29.352
That's almost to Wilbur Road, so I would say that's about halfway before the crash happened.
00:12:29.659 --> 00:12:32.850
Now we drive down this section of highway literally daily.
00:12:32.850 --> 00:12:48.873
I could only imagine coming southbound, coming home from work and seeing a Pontiac Firebird going 60 to 100 miles an hour, not veering basically anything, just like a rocket headed the wrong way down the one-way double lane highway.
00:12:50.041 --> 00:12:51.306
I couldn't even imagine it.
00:12:51.306 --> 00:12:54.549
Now, other witnesses echoed the chaos.
00:12:54.549 --> 00:13:00.568
Jerry Pearson saw the Pontiac speed passed at over 60 miles per hour.
00:13:00.568 --> 00:13:05.907
Airborne after the impact, jeff Spicer estimated Judy's speed at 55 miles per hour.
00:13:05.907 --> 00:13:12.769
Airborne after the impact, jeff spicer estimated judy's speed at 55 miles per hour or higher, noting that the explosion that followed.
00:13:12.769 --> 00:13:21.748
Now william fugate and joni kane saw the car flying at 80 to 100 miles per hour, trailing blue smoke.
00:13:21.748 --> 00:13:35.633
Becky smith and sienna shoe fit and tracy van hook described judy weaving through traffic, forcing other drivers to dodge her at speeds of up to 90 miles per hour.
00:13:35.633 --> 00:13:50.230
Tracy noted a small boy in the front of the seat, possibly clutching to the dashboard in this tiny car, with Judy's blonde hair blowing in the wind as the car's T-tops were off.
00:13:50.230 --> 00:13:55.191
Wow, so just think how scary that makes it more.
00:13:55.191 --> 00:14:02.850
You have no roof over your head at all, and do cars come with T-tops anymore?
00:14:03.682 --> 00:14:05.649
I haven't seen T-tops in a long time.
00:14:05.649 --> 00:14:07.576
Now that you mentioned that, I don't think they do.
00:14:07.700 --> 00:14:13.273
I know they come with sunroofs and stuff like that, but I haven't seen T-tops on a car for years.
00:14:13.821 --> 00:14:15.628
T-tops were the shit I have to say.
00:14:15.628 --> 00:14:18.989
Could you imagine the interior of that car?
00:14:18.989 --> 00:14:20.866
I mean, she's freaking out.
00:14:20.866 --> 00:14:25.243
The witnesses are saying that she looks stoic, she's on out.
00:14:25.263 --> 00:14:27.059
The witnesses are saying that she looks stoic, she's on a mission, she's on a mission.
00:14:27.259 --> 00:14:35.586
I bet all the kids were just screaming Mommy, stop, mommy, stop, or just screaming bloody murder, it just had to be her, and it's like she didn't even hear him.
00:14:35.586 --> 00:14:38.320
She's definitely on a mission.
00:14:38.320 --> 00:14:46.195
I think some of the witnesses also said that she seemingly went for the van because it was a bigger vehicle.
00:14:46.195 --> 00:14:47.424
I mean, she was definitely.
00:14:47.424 --> 00:14:48.671
She knew what she was doing.
00:14:48.671 --> 00:14:49.363
Absolutely.
00:14:49.363 --> 00:14:50.326
She knew what she was doing.
00:14:50.326 --> 00:14:53.549
The physical evidence was equally damning.
00:14:54.360 --> 00:15:12.075
Judy's Pontiac Firebird had flew striking the Plymouth van head on Investigators Jeff Buskirk and Danny Allen, reviewed security footage from a Speedway gas station where Judy was seen pumping gas and buying candy bars just before the crash.
00:15:12.075 --> 00:15:15.149
That's kind of a haunting, mundane moment.
00:15:15.600 --> 00:15:20.072
Because that's right there, like four seconds from the crash.
00:15:20.072 --> 00:15:24.870
Once you pull out and go straight up, I mean you're there within a minute.
00:15:25.251 --> 00:15:29.187
You buy the kids candy bars and then take them on the death ride.
00:15:30.660 --> 00:15:31.645
That's nuts.
00:15:32.259 --> 00:15:35.606
Search warrants for Judy's car and blood samples were attained.
00:15:35.606 --> 00:15:42.202
Her blood tested negative for alcohol or drugs, ruling out substance abuse as a factor in the crash.
00:15:42.342 --> 00:16:02.148
That makes it even more crazy, because I mean, I'm not saying her, it just makes you think oh my gosh, this lady was not on drugs, she was not impaired chemically or anything like that, and she still did this.
00:16:02.841 --> 00:16:03.927
It's really hard to swallow.
00:16:17.428 --> 00:16:29.037
Well, judy's state of mind became a focal point for a major depressive episode with postpartum onset triggered by the birth of her youngest child.
00:16:29.037 --> 00:16:35.202
Just five months earlier, judy was prescribed Zoloft for depression and Synthroid.
00:16:35.202 --> 00:16:38.306
Claim he denied and a feared federal agents were watching her.
00:16:38.306 --> 00:16:58.879
So she was paranoid, thinking that Teenie was a federal informant.
00:16:58.879 --> 00:17:01.107
Like was she moving drugs?
00:17:02.299 --> 00:17:13.184
I've read some accounts that she was selling some pain pills up there on the south side, but Kathy Walker, another sister, had confirmed Judy's medication regimen and noted no history of alcohol abuse.
00:17:13.184 --> 00:17:23.036
However, judy's ex-husband, victor Kirby, revealed that she believed someone was watching her, a paranoia echoed by her son, justin.
00:17:23.036 --> 00:17:28.824
Victor had planned to take custody of their children that day, but couldn't explain why Judy was in Martinsville.
00:17:28.824 --> 00:17:47.723
Wow, so that really makes you think she wasn't chemically impaired.
00:17:47.923 --> 00:17:53.453
He's saying that she's a good driver and she did have a lot of kids.
00:17:53.453 --> 00:17:56.705
So her body had been pregnant for many, many years.
00:17:56.705 --> 00:18:04.442
I mean I think her youngest children was five months two, three and a half and four.
00:18:05.061 --> 00:18:07.663
That's enough to make anybody that's her youngest four Crazy.
00:18:07.943 --> 00:18:14.248
So I guarantee you that postpartum depression played a major, major role in this.
00:18:14.248 --> 00:18:21.692
And this was like at a time where a lot of women were going.
00:18:21.692 --> 00:18:25.694
This is when postpartum depression kind of became real big.
00:18:25.694 --> 00:18:35.781
You had that woman with the silly string murders that she got accused of killing her kid and I think she tried to say it was that.
00:18:35.781 --> 00:18:43.855
And then there was a few others that during that time period of 10 years it was kind of prevalent on the news.
00:18:44.861 --> 00:18:46.926
It's definitely a serious issue with women.
00:18:48.150 --> 00:18:48.731
Definitely.
00:18:50.500 --> 00:18:52.127
I'd say she probably was a pretty good driver.
00:18:52.127 --> 00:18:56.990
I'll tell you those Pontiac formulas, the formula version of those Firebirds.
00:18:56.990 --> 00:19:01.431
They had V8s in them and a lot of them had five, even six speed transmissions in them.
00:19:01.431 --> 00:19:04.208
So they were like a muscle car of that year of car.
00:19:04.569 --> 00:19:15.579
So it wasn't a little piece of shit, right, it was a, it was like a race car, you know I didn't know what these cars look like and I was like well, I gotta see what these look like so I can describe it to people.
00:19:15.579 --> 00:19:28.496
Because if I don't know what it looks like and the best way I could describe it is, like you know, it was like a flashy 1980s car where you have big hair, big bands.
00:19:28.516 --> 00:19:29.237
Yeah, absolutely.
00:19:29.480 --> 00:19:33.170
With the little headlights that pop up on them kind of like a.
00:19:33.170 --> 00:19:34.152
Trans Am.
00:19:34.152 --> 00:19:36.465
That's exactly what it is.
00:19:36.465 --> 00:19:37.321
It's a.
00:19:37.363 --> 00:19:37.944
Trans Am.
00:19:37.944 --> 00:19:38.928
It's exactly what it is.
00:19:38.928 --> 00:19:43.228
It's a Pontiac Formula Trans Am, if you can imagine what the car kit looked like.
00:19:43.228 --> 00:19:44.182
Remember the old show Kit.
00:19:44.182 --> 00:19:45.307
No Kit was a Pontiac Firebird, if you can imagine what the car kit looked like.
00:19:45.257 --> 00:19:45.539
Remember the old show kit?
00:19:45.539 --> 00:19:45.549
No.
00:19:45.740 --> 00:19:47.144
Kit was a Pontiac Firebird.
00:19:47.144 --> 00:19:53.048
Basically the same car had the two little headlights that opened up and closed and most of them did have T-tops on them.
00:19:53.048 --> 00:19:55.167
But the Formula versions of them were fast.
00:19:55.167 --> 00:19:56.664
They were beefed up a little bit.
00:19:57.026 --> 00:19:57.288
Wow.
00:19:57.288 --> 00:20:04.173
So attorney Marian Wunder provided critical insight into Judy's mental state.
00:20:04.173 --> 00:20:06.988
Judy was emotionally distraught.
00:20:06.988 --> 00:20:13.292
She was convinced Tenney's alleged drug activities had put her under federal surveillance.
00:20:13.292 --> 00:20:19.732
The attorney noted that Tenney had fueled Judy's fears, leading to erratic behavior.
00:20:19.732 --> 00:20:29.174
In a recorded interview, judy denied significant conflict, saying she hugged her children goodbye before heading to her sister's.
00:20:30.160 --> 00:20:48.021
Yet she admitted to frustration, stating Her medical records offered further context, need help.
00:20:48.021 --> 00:20:49.405
Her medical records offered further context.
00:20:49.405 --> 00:20:58.772
Dr Michelle R Babin-Nelson and a social worker, michael Kinney, documented Judy's March 2nd admission to St Francis for hypoventilation and suicidal thoughts, diagnosed with a depressive episode.
00:20:58.772 --> 00:21:04.148
She was released after two days against medical advice with no noted driving concerns.
00:21:04.148 --> 00:21:17.794
Her thyroid condition hyperthyroidism was suggested by her defense as a factor that could have distorted her perception of reality, but medical experts found no evidence of it impairing her driving.
00:21:18.501 --> 00:21:27.553
I do believe that that can be because she was hyper, meaning her body was producing a lot more hormones than it could have, mixed with postpartum depression.
00:21:27.553 --> 00:21:31.471
I mean, that's just like a hurricane and a tornado mixed together.
00:21:31.471 --> 00:21:34.945
That's a bad outcome.
00:21:35.200 --> 00:21:39.250
I agree that's a serious problem, and especially if you think the feds are watching you.
00:21:39.250 --> 00:21:41.067
I mean, I don't know if that was part of it.
00:21:41.067 --> 00:21:43.424
I never knew this about this story.
00:21:43.424 --> 00:21:54.795
I mean, everybody knows the story about Judy Kirby and her wrecking, but this stuff about her thinking the feds was watching her and the defense about the thyroid issue, that's news to me.
00:21:55.200 --> 00:22:02.364
The investigation culminated in a detailed affidavit by Scott Hamilton outlining Judy's route and actions.
00:22:02.364 --> 00:22:05.205
Outlining Judy's route and actions From Valleybrook to the crash site.
00:22:05.205 --> 00:22:15.491
She navigated stop signs, traffic signals and a divided highway, yet drove at lethal speeds for nearly two miles in the wrong direction.
00:22:15.491 --> 00:22:25.617
The evidence suggested a woman under immense psychological pressure, but no clear motive, whether suicide, psychosis or intent emerged.
00:22:25.617 --> 00:22:35.586
The community mourned the loss of Jordan, jacob, joni, jeremy, thomas, jessica and Bradley, while Judy faced a legal reckoning.
00:22:37.146 --> 00:22:39.465
It's like something hit her at the gas station.
00:22:39.465 --> 00:22:44.088
I mean she drove normal from the trailer park by every account that they could find.
00:22:44.580 --> 00:22:48.221
She was triggered by something that happened at the gas station, Did she?
00:22:48.221 --> 00:22:50.148
I mean, they had cell phones back then.
00:22:50.148 --> 00:22:51.991
Did she get a phone call?
00:22:51.991 --> 00:22:52.032
I?
00:22:52.516 --> 00:22:53.099
don't know, in 2000?
00:22:53.099 --> 00:22:53.744
, did she see?
00:22:53.806 --> 00:22:58.561
something at the gas station Did she see like a vehicle and she was paranoid.
00:22:58.561 --> 00:23:00.683
And then she was like, oh my God, this is it.
00:23:01.345 --> 00:23:07.028
I don't know, they had like maybe them little calculator, cell phones, I don't know the flip phones.
00:23:07.089 --> 00:23:12.433
Yeah, I got my first cell phone in 2001, and it was one of them Nokia flip phones.
00:23:12.433 --> 00:23:15.056
It was right before the Razors came out.
00:23:15.415 --> 00:23:23.204
Yeah, I guess I did get mine in 98, but it was like a calculator, you know what I mean, like the Nokia flat little box phone.
00:23:23.204 --> 00:23:27.351
When I say by calculator, I mean it had the numbers like an old calculator you know what I mean.
