On July 18th 2022, dan Markell was murdered as he was pulling into his garage by two hitmen named Luis Riviera and Sigfrido Garcia.

Also arrested was Charlie Adelson, 38 at the time of the murder, and Katie McBanwa, 29 at the time of the murder, and Donald Adelson, which was Charlie and Wendy's mother.
