Plea Deals & Broken Systems: How Roan Waters Walked Free to Kill Oaklee Snow

Plea Deals & Broken Systems: How Roan Waters Walked Free to Kill Oaklee Snow

Oaklee Snow's tragic death in 2023 could have been prevented if the justice system hadn't failed her through a lenient plea deal given to her killer years earlier. We investigate how Rowan Waters went from facing decades in prison to walking free in just four years, only to allegedly murder little Oakley by February 2023.

• Roan Waters' 2017 arrest for armed burglary with multiple felonies that should have kept him behind bars until 2037
• How a lenient plea deal reduced his sentence from a potential 42.5 years to just 5 years, with release after only 4
• The Oklahoma domestic violence and child abuse charges that sent Waters on the run with Madison Marshall and her children
• Detailed timeline of February 9, 2023—the day Oaklee was killed in Indianapolis
• The disturbing discovery of Oaklee's body in a dresser drawer at an abandoned Morgantown property
• Madison's plea deal and upcoming testimony against Waters in his June 2025 trial
• The systemic failures that let a violent offender free to allegedly commit murder

Welcome back everybody to 69 South Podcast.

00:00:57.631 --> 00:01:01.548
I'm your host, chop, and with me always is my beautiful co-host Julie.

00:01:01.548 --> 00:01:02.472
How are you doing today?

00:01:03.040 --> 00:01:03.862
I'm good.

00:01:04.506 --> 00:01:11.302
Today we're talking about a case that's been heavy on our hearts Rowan Waters, madison Marshall and the tragic death of little Oakley Snow.

00:01:11.302 --> 00:01:22.034
We've been digging into this case since day one, and today we're asking a tough question Could Oakley still be alive if Waters didn't get such a light plea deal back in 2017?

00:01:22.034 --> 00:01:23.626
Let's set the stage.

00:01:23.626 --> 00:01:26.320
What was the deal and what was he originally looking at?

00:01:27.281 --> 00:01:30.126
So yeah, let's go back to 2017.

00:01:30.126 --> 00:01:39.665
Rowan Waters got arrested on October 18th in Shelby County, indiana, with a whole mess of charges.

00:01:39.665 --> 00:02:02.734
We've got the notes on an F2 burglary with a deadly weapon, an F5 burglary for recklessness, two F6 felonies and one for using a deadly weapon, another for a body armor, a use of body armor to commit a felony, plus misdemeanors for resisting law enforcement and criminal mischief.

00:02:03.239 --> 00:02:05.108
That sounds like some home invasion shit.

00:02:05.108 --> 00:02:11.169
I mean wearing a body armor into a burglary Like dressed up like a bank robber or something and went in there.

00:02:11.979 --> 00:02:20.671
Now, if they stacked all of those sentences consecutively, he was looking at a max sentence of 42.5 years.

00:02:20.671 --> 00:02:28.193
The F-2 alone, that's 10 to 30 years with an advisory sentence of 17.5 years.

00:02:28.193 --> 00:02:30.658
The F2 alone, that's 10 to 30 years, with an advisory sentence of 17.5 years.

00:02:30.658 --> 00:02:36.127
The F5 is a one to six year sentence, the F6 are six months to two and a half years.

00:02:36.127 --> 00:02:45.871
So even if some of the time ran together, like they often do, he was still facing 20 to 25 years.

00:02:45.871 --> 00:02:48.203
That's a long time behind bars.

00:02:48.462 --> 00:02:49.925
Yeah, 20 to 25 years.

00:02:49.925 --> 00:02:55.021
That'll keep him locked up until at least 20, 37, maybe longer, but that's not what he got.

00:02:55.021 --> 00:02:57.888
What was the plea deal they got for him?

00:02:58.128 --> 00:02:59.330
Not even close.

00:02:59.330 --> 00:03:10.474
By May 9th 2018, he takes a plea deal which drops the F2 felony to an F5 burglary charge and everything else gets tossed.

00:03:10.474 --> 00:03:17.834
He gets five years, with about six and a half months he's already spent in jail waiting for sentencing, plus good time credit.

00:03:17.834 --> 00:03:23.953
He's out by February 16th of 2022, so he serves a little over four years total.

00:03:24.740 --> 00:03:25.405
Four years.

00:03:25.405 --> 00:03:28.424
That's little to nothing compared to 20 or more.

00:03:28.424 --> 00:03:30.069
So let's talk about Oakley.

00:03:30.069 --> 00:03:34.223
If he's locked up until 2037, I wonder if that would change her story.

00:03:34.644 --> 00:03:35.686
It sure could have.

00:03:35.686 --> 00:03:48.608
If Waters is still in prison in 2022, he's not out in Oklahoma by November getting charged with child abuse and domestic battery for her and Oakley and her mom, madison Marshall.

00:03:48.608 --> 00:04:03.885
He's not on the run and he's not with Madison when she takes off with Oakley and her brother on January 19, 2023 and, most importantly, he's not in Indianapolis on February 9, 2023 when Oakley is killed.

00:04:03.885 --> 00:04:10.388
If he'd still been locked up, oakley might still be alive today, playing and laughing like she should be.

00:04:12.600 --> 00:04:13.787
That's a hard pill to swallow.

00:04:13.787 --> 00:04:18.326
I mean to think that that little girl might still be here if they hadn't let him out so early.

00:04:18.326 --> 00:04:20.165
What do you think of that plea deal?

00:04:20.165 --> 00:04:22.223
Do you think he got it?

00:04:22.223 --> 00:04:25.290
Because it was like maybe his first offense as an adult.

00:04:25.290 --> 00:04:28.189
I mean, that's Shelby County too, not Marion County.

00:04:28.189 --> 00:04:30.528
Shelby County, I thought, was a little bit of a refer on.

00:04:30.740 --> 00:04:37.771
Yeah, I don't think he had any previous, maybe some traffic tickets or something minimal but nothing.

00:04:37.771 --> 00:04:39.915
That was like the first big felony.

00:04:41.279 --> 00:04:48.009
Maybe they were just giving him the benefit of the doubt, hoping he could learn his lesson, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

00:04:48.500 --> 00:04:49.925
And he got off way too easy.

00:04:49.925 --> 00:04:52.889
Look I get why plea deals happen.

00:04:52.889 --> 00:04:57.430
Prosecution wants a sure thing and a trial is a gamble.

00:04:57.430 --> 00:05:04.007
But dropping an F-2 burglary with a deadly weapon down to an F-5, that's a huge jump.

00:05:04.007 --> 00:05:07.550
He went from facing decades to walking free in four years.

00:05:07.550 --> 00:05:13.132
And those other charges, the deadly weapon, the body armor they just vanish.

00:05:13.132 --> 00:05:17.726
That ain't justice, not when you look at what he did later.

00:05:18.309 --> 00:05:19.011
Yeah, I'm with you.

00:05:19.011 --> 00:05:21.959
I mean, he had a deadly weapon, he was ready to do some damage.

00:05:21.959 --> 00:05:29.514
They let him off with a pat on the back and now you look at where Oakley is gone and he's facing murder charges.

00:05:29.514 --> 00:05:33.704
It makes you wonder if the system dropped the ball big time back in 2018.

00:05:34.206 --> 00:05:34.927
It really does.

00:05:34.927 --> 00:05:43.233
And now, with his trial coming up on June 9th 2025, we're all waiting to see if he'll finally face the music for what happened to Oakley.

00:05:43.233 --> 00:05:49.072
But it's hard not to think about what could have been if that plea deal hadn't been so lenient.

00:05:50.161 --> 00:05:52.930
I personally believe that a stronger sentence could have saved Oakley.

00:05:52.930 --> 00:05:56.829
Let's zero in on that moment that turned Rowan Waters into a fugitive.

00:05:56.829 --> 00:06:00.002
Julie, take us back to November 2022.

00:06:00.002 --> 00:06:02.766
What the heck happened in Oklahoma to kick all this shit off?

00:06:03.646 --> 00:06:05.810
So by November 2022,.

00:06:05.810 --> 00:06:10.915
Roan Waters is living out in Oklahoma with his woman, Madison Marshall.

00:06:10.915 --> 00:06:20.855
Things seem quiet for a bit after he got out of prison, but then it all blows up when he gets charged with child abuse and domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor.

00:06:23.761 --> 00:06:26.831
So that's how he got the original warrant put on him after that.

00:06:28.600 --> 00:06:31.850
Well, a bench warrant got issued because he didn't show up for court.

00:06:31.850 --> 00:06:40.771
Instead of facing the music, waters bolted left Oklahoma and hightailed it back to Indiana on the run, with that warrant hanging over his head.

00:06:41.639 --> 00:06:42.685
Well, of course he's going to run.

00:06:42.685 --> 00:06:44.541
He's not wanting to face the music Sounds like he knew he was in deep shit.

00:06:44.541 --> 00:06:46.382
He's not wanting to face the music Sounds like he knew he was in deep shit.

00:06:46.382 --> 00:06:51.827
Those charges child abuse could have been one to 10 years, and the domestic battery adds another year.

00:06:51.827 --> 00:06:55.442
If they stacked it, he probably wasn't sticking around for all that.

00:06:56.846 --> 00:06:58.209
No, he wasn't.

00:06:58.209 --> 00:07:04.502
And here's the kicker he was still in touch with Madison even after on the run.

00:07:04.502 --> 00:07:13.310
That connection didn't break and it's going to lead to more trouble down the line, but the warrant, that's what kicked off him being a fugitive.

00:07:14.391 --> 00:07:16.173
Yeah, that's the spark that lit the whole fire.

00:07:16.173 --> 00:07:19.557
He did not want to return to prison and it led to Oakley Snow's death.

00:07:19.557 --> 00:07:26.324
Let's jump into this probable cause affidavit and see what allegedly happened.

00:07:26.324 --> 00:07:31.454
So this is the probable cause affidavit for Madison Marshall and her co-defendant, Rowan Waters.

00:07:31.454 --> 00:07:55.548
This affidavit for probable cause does not contain each and every material fact known to the detectives and or other law enforcement officials from the IMPD or the FBI.

00:07:55.608 --> 00:08:09.255
This affidavit contains the necessary facts and information just to establish the probable cause for the arrest of Madison Marshall and Rowan Waters for the disappearance and death of Oakley.

00:08:09.255 --> 00:08:22.394
To report allegations of physical assault by her boyfriend, rowan Waters, madison alleged that Rowan had struck her one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, oakley Snow, in the face during an altercation the day prior.

00:08:22.394 --> 00:08:29.892
Then Rowan hit Madison in the head when she attempted to intervene in the assault.

00:08:30.500 --> 00:08:39.148
Deputies with the OCSO arrived at Madison's shared residence with Rowan in Cromwell, Oklahoma, and attempted to make contact with the occupants.

00:08:39.148 --> 00:08:43.551
Rowan answered the front door and asked the deputies if they had a warrant to be on his property.

00:08:43.551 --> 00:08:46.448
Before they could answer, he slammed the door in their faces.

00:08:47.341 --> 00:09:00.770
The deputies attempted to explain through the closed door, the purpose of their presence, that they were there for a welfare check, but Rowan yelled for them to get the fuck out.

00:09:00.770 --> 00:09:04.780
As the deputies returned to their marked police vehicles fuck out.

00:09:04.780 --> 00:09:10.032
As the deputies returned to their marked police vehicles, a blue SUV, a blue colored SUV, pulled up next to them.

00:09:10.032 --> 00:09:18.539
They identified multiple occupants inside of it, to include Madison Oakley and Madison's three month old son, cs.

00:09:19.801 --> 00:09:24.712
Ron appeared to see Madison's interaction with the officers and exited from the residence.

00:09:24.712 --> 00:09:30.662
He immediately began yelling so that the deputies could no longer hear what the occupants of the SUV were saying.

00:09:30.662 --> 00:09:35.052
Rowan also began playing loud music to further inhibit their conversation.

00:09:35.052 --> 00:09:41.864
The deputies eventually left the property after Marshall attempted to assure them that she and her children were not in danger.

00:09:42.826 --> 00:09:44.188
Talk about a loose cannon.

00:09:44.769 --> 00:09:52.363
Yeah, and later that day Zach Snow contacted the Sheriff's Department to inform them that Madison would now like to make a formal report to them.

00:09:52.363 --> 00:10:02.011
Zach Snow identified himself as the biological father of Oakley, and CS Deputies arrived at Zach's father's residence in Cromwell and spoke with Madison.

00:10:02.011 --> 00:10:05.350
She was present with her two children.

00:10:05.350 --> 00:10:13.442
Madison stated that Rowan had struck Oakley in the mouth with an open hand on October 25, 2022 because she had been crying.

00:10:14.144 --> 00:10:20.581
Madison lifted Oakley's upper lip so that the deputies could see the cut on the other side.

00:10:20.581 --> 00:10:25.470
She explained that Rowan hit Oakley and she confronted him.

00:10:25.470 --> 00:10:28.642
He then slapped Madison across the left side of her face.

00:10:28.642 --> 00:10:34.020
The impact left a contusion over her left eye and cheek, which were visible to the deputies.

00:10:34.020 --> 00:10:45.451
They photographed Madison and Oakley's injuries and documented the report in order to present the case to the county prosecutor's office for possible charges.

00:10:46.120 --> 00:10:52.023
Madison requested that only charges be filed against Rowan for his abuse against Oakley rather than on her.

00:10:52.023 --> 00:11:10.735
On November 7, 2022, the District Court of Ofuskee County filed a warrant for Rowan's arrest for the charges of child abuse and domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor, under the docket number CF-2022-0057, as it related to the above events.

00:11:11.562 --> 00:11:24.711
On January 19, 2023, Zach Snow reported the disappearance of Oakley NCS from his home of his residence in Cromwell, Oklahoma.

00:11:24.711 --> 00:11:38.708
He reported it to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office that Madison and Rowan took his children from his home without authorization and had likely fled to Indianapolis to be with Rowan's family.

00:11:39.081 --> 00:11:40.726
So let's back this up a little bit here.

00:11:40.726 --> 00:11:47.793
They were living in Oklahoma and it seems like Madison and Zach were a couple.

00:11:47.793 --> 00:11:52.126
They had went to school together and stuff and they had two children together.

00:11:52.460 --> 00:11:57.245
Yeah, she had just had a baby three months prior to this event.

00:11:58.469 --> 00:12:03.125
So Rowan goes to prison and he gets out in Indiana.

00:12:03.125 --> 00:12:10.086
At some point he returns back to Oklahoma and kind of infiltrates their little happy family life, supposedly.

00:12:11.462 --> 00:12:13.059
Yeah, that's exactly what happened.

00:12:13.059 --> 00:12:29.653
And then after this incident she goes back to Zach and is living there as a couple, I guess and then on January 19th she just cut out in the middle of the night with the two children.

00:12:30.940 --> 00:12:37.068
In all reports that we looked at this Zach Snow seemed like he was giving her a pretty good life, like they had a nice place to live.

00:12:37.068 --> 00:12:39.506
He had a job, he was taking care of the family.

00:12:41.062 --> 00:12:46.307
Yeah, I just think she was a stay-at-home mom and he did all the work and he provided the home.

00:12:46.307 --> 00:12:47.870
I mean they had a pretty good life.

00:12:48.701 --> 00:13:08.561
So, on March 3rd 2023, the Greenwood Village, colorado Police Department located and arrested Rowan for his outstanding warrant in Oklahoma after responding to a complaint regarding occupants of a room at a local Best Western Hotel located at 9231 East Arapahoe Road in Grinwood Village, colorado.

00:13:08.561 --> 00:13:17.991
Through their follow-up investigation at the scene of the arrest, they determined that Marshall had been staying with him at the hotel, but had no reason to be detained at that time.

00:13:18.759 --> 00:13:22.049
Additionally, there were no signs that children had been with them.

00:13:22.049 --> 00:13:28.044
Law enforcement identified Rowan's cellular phone number ending in 2033.

00:13:28.044 --> 00:13:32.231
However, no cell phone was present on Rowan upon his arrest.

00:13:32.231 --> 00:13:46.552
Deputies from the OCSO learned of Rowan Waters' arrest that day and requested assistance from the GWVPD with interviewing him about the disappearance of the children.

00:13:47.600 --> 00:13:49.969
Detectives interviewed Rowan on that same day.

00:13:49.969 --> 00:13:58.251
He stated that he had traveled from Oklahoma with Madison and her two children in his blue-colored Dodge Durango bearing an Indianapolis license plate.

00:13:58.251 --> 00:14:03.899
They stayed at a trap house within the city of Indianapolis so that he and Marshall could use drugs.

00:14:03.899 --> 00:14:11.028
He further stated that Madison had made the decision to abandon her son at the trap house before leaving to go to Colorado.

00:14:11.028 --> 00:14:15.467
So how long was this?

00:14:15.467 --> 00:14:18.860
After he got the warrant in Oklahoma?

00:14:19.481 --> 00:14:23.972
So he got the warrant in November of 2022.

00:14:23.972 --> 00:14:41.770
The warrant in November of 2022 and this is four months after that.

00:14:41.770 --> 00:14:47.756
But Zach Snow had reported his was killed on February 9th.

00:14:47.756 --> 00:14:51.711
So they're on the run a little under a month and they went to Colorado.

00:14:52.380 --> 00:14:54.546
And they're living in a trap house in between.

00:14:54.546 --> 00:15:04.427
These times I mean they he's abusing, physically abusing her and her children, or her daughter supposedly allegedly in Oklahoma.

00:15:04.427 --> 00:15:17.528
They go supposedly living in a trap house in Indianapolis and then basically they're on the run again and they can't even keep it together long enough to not get phone calls from the people at the damn Best Western that they're screaming and yelling and fighting probably.

00:15:18.000 --> 00:15:20.025
Oh, I bet it was a chaotic mess.

00:15:20.908 --> 00:15:23.961
It sounds like it Now.

00:15:23.961 --> 00:15:38.456
In the days that followed, detectives at the Arapahoe County Colorado Sheriff's Office investigators were reviewing Rowan's jail calls made within the Arapahoe County Detention Center while he was pending extradition back to Oklahoma.

00:15:38.456 --> 00:15:46.975
Rowan frequently talked to his mother, identified as Brandy Pearson, also known as Brandy Waters, who is a current resident of Indianapolis, indiana.

00:15:46.975 --> 00:15:54.173
During these calls, he informed Brandy that he had lied to the police and had indeed been present when the children were each abandoned.

00:15:54.173 --> 00:15:59.451
He admitted to assisting Madison with specifically dropping Oakley off somewhere.

00:15:59.451 --> 00:16:02.208
However, he did not provide specific details.

00:16:02.208 --> 00:16:07.370
Brandy informed him that Madison had his 2033 cell phone now.

00:16:08.681 --> 00:16:13.293
Roan also spoke to Madison from the phone number ending in 2023.

00:16:13.293 --> 00:16:16.080
Or, excuse me, 2033.

00:16:16.080 --> 00:16:22.493
She told him that she planned to change her name, though she never told him what her new alias would be.

00:16:22.493 --> 00:16:23.962
She never told him what her new alias would be.

00:16:23.962 --> 00:16:34.332
She explained that she had since made contact with his mother, brandy, following his arrest, and asked her what she should do now.

00:16:34.332 --> 00:16:40.760
They agreed to have Rowan's older brother, bw, and his wife, dw, travel to Colorado to take her back to Indianapolis.

00:16:40.760 --> 00:16:44.102
Traveled to Colorado to take her back to Indianapolis.

00:16:44.102 --> 00:16:53.606
Madison explained that Brandi was coordinating these plans with DW and BW on her behalf.

00:16:53.606 --> 00:16:59.429
There was no discussion as to the whereabouts of Oakley or her son.

00:16:59.809 --> 00:17:05.313
I bet the cops were listening to them jail calls and wondered man, why is she going to change her name and go on the run and shit?

00:17:05.313 --> 00:17:05.952
You know what I mean.

00:17:05.952 --> 00:17:09.714
At this point they really didn't know what had happened to the babies.

00:17:09.714 --> 00:17:15.557
So on March 6, 2023, detectives believed Oakley and CS to be in extreme danger.

00:17:15.557 --> 00:17:23.826
Detective Tangleman requested FBI Indianapolis assistance with locating them.

00:17:23.826 --> 00:17:48.032
Detectives in turn contacted Marion County DCS office and confirmed that Rowan's sister we'll call her KW had reported the abandonment and recovery of CS, that's Madison's three-month-old on February 9, 2023 at approximately 7.41 pm that night she had informed the case workers that her brother, Rowan and Madison needed to take two-year-old Oakley to the hospital.

00:17:48.920 --> 00:17:52.310
His sister was unaware if and when they would return.

00:17:52.310 --> 00:18:07.500
Dcs informed the special agent that Zach, the father of the children, had taken back custody of CS earlier that afternoon and they had likely returned to Oklahoma earlier that afternoon and they had likely returned to Oklahoma.

00:18:13.940 --> 00:18:20.090
Now the detectives notified the federal detectives, notified the local detectives of the above investigation and requested assistance from the IMPD Missing Persons Unit.

00:18:20.090 --> 00:18:23.528
With locating Oakley and Madison.

00:18:23.528 --> 00:18:32.491
Detectives then traveled to Brandy's place of employment to obtain a statement as to her knowledge of their whereabouts.

00:18:32.491 --> 00:18:40.251
Brandy stated that Roan had arrived in Indianapolis back in early February or late January of 2023.

00:18:40.251 --> 00:18:46.166
He had traveled in his blue-colored Dodge Durango with his girlfriend, madison and her two small children.

00:18:47.369 --> 00:18:49.357
Now, Brandy said she had only seen them once.

00:18:49.357 --> 00:18:56.284
However, she had allowed them to stay at one of her residential properties located at 305 Albany Street, Indianapolis, Indiana.

00:18:56.284 --> 00:19:04.634
Brandy had bought baby formula and supplies to assist them with caring for the kids during their stay, Since they had arrived with nothing for the children.

00:19:04.634 --> 00:19:14.673
She knew Roan and Madison to actively use drugs, including during their recent visit to Indiana drugs, including during their recent visit to Indiana.

00:19:14.692 --> 00:19:25.257
Brandy recalled Roan's friend named Tennessee, calling her on or about February 9, 2023, to say that Roan and Madison had left him alone with CS, the three-month-old baby.

00:19:25.257 --> 00:19:32.375
Now he requested that she immediately come to 305 Albany Street to take custody of him.

00:19:32.375 --> 00:19:35.171
Brandy agreed and rushed to the house.

00:19:35.171 --> 00:19:43.932
Upon her arrival, she observed Tennessee standing outside the front of the house holding the baby.

00:19:43.932 --> 00:19:45.817
The baby had no clothes on.

00:19:45.817 --> 00:19:51.625
Brandy then contacted Rowan's sister, kw, to come to the house to help take care of the baby.

00:19:51.625 --> 00:19:52.294
This was because Brandy needed to return to work.

00:19:52.294 --> 00:19:52.451
That sister KW to come to the house to help take care of the baby.

00:19:52.451 --> 00:19:55.880
This was because Brandy needed to return to work that day.

00:19:55.880 --> 00:19:59.319
Kw agreed and arrived shortly thereafter.

00:20:00.111 --> 00:20:06.182
Brandy was aware of Rowan's arrest in Colorado and had spoken to him multiple times over jail calls since then.

00:20:06.182 --> 00:20:13.519
She stated that she had agreed to help Marshall return to Indiana because she did not think that Marshall quote had anybody else.

00:20:13.519 --> 00:20:22.902
Therefore she sent her eldest son, rowan's brother BW, to Colorado to pick her up and also were to recover Rowan's Dodge Durango.

00:20:22.902 --> 00:20:30.821
She reported that BW had successfully returned with both Madison and the vehicle to Indianapolis in the days that followed.

00:20:30.842 --> 00:20:32.506
Madison and the vehicle to Indianapolis.

00:20:32.506 --> 00:20:54.144
In the days that followed, brandy identified her cell phone number ending in 2483 and informed the detectives that it was her understanding that Madison now had custody of Roan's cell phone ending in 2033 and she believed that Marshall had taken it prior to Roan getting arrested in Colorado earlier that month.

00:20:55.290 --> 00:20:57.496
Next, the detectives interviewed Rowan's sister.

00:20:57.496 --> 00:21:07.050
She also had stated that February 9, 2023, that Brandy had called her to ask to come and help at the Albany Street address to help take care of the baby.

00:21:07.050 --> 00:21:09.714
She agreed and she rushed over there to help.

00:21:09.714 --> 00:21:15.505
She also then called Rowan by cell phone to ask why he and Madison had left the baby alone.

00:21:15.505 --> 00:21:19.961
He explained that Oakley had been bouncing on a bouncy ball that day and had fallen.

00:21:19.961 --> 00:21:26.143
He claimed that, as a result of her injury, he and Madison needed to take her to the emergency room.

00:21:26.710 --> 00:21:37.663
Given the above circumstances, she feared for the baby's well-being at the Albany Street residence and asked her husband to come with her so she could temporarily take care of the baby at her own house.

00:21:37.663 --> 00:21:40.875
Approximately 15 minutes later her husband arrived.

00:21:40.875 --> 00:21:46.252
Rowan and Madison got back to the Albany Street residence about the same time.

00:21:46.252 --> 00:21:53.724
Kw neither saw Oakley nor did she attempt to speak with Rowan or Madison before departing with the baby.

00:21:53.724 --> 00:22:05.722
She explained to the FBI agent and the local police that she did not believe that Rowan and Madison could have driven Oakley to the nearest hospital and then returned back to the house in that short amount of time.

00:22:06.443 --> 00:22:08.165
Wow so.

00:22:08.770 --> 00:22:10.577
What she's saying is basically they were gone.

00:22:10.577 --> 00:22:15.082
They left the baby there with the dude named Tennessee, which we don't know anything about him.

00:22:15.082 --> 00:22:16.415
He probably could have been in good duty.

00:22:16.415 --> 00:22:18.115
Obviously he was calling somebody.

00:22:18.115 --> 00:22:19.875
Hey, you guys need to come take care of this baby.

00:22:20.618 --> 00:22:26.542
Yeah, and you could tell she was pissed when they pulled up because she just cut out with the baby.

00:22:26.869 --> 00:22:35.403
Didn't even say shit to him, no, and in the back of her mind she's thinking something's fucked up, because she's probably been to emergency rooms with kids and shit.

00:22:35.403 --> 00:22:39.741
I mean, you take a little baby to the emergency room, it's not a 15-minute, 30-minute ordeal.

00:22:39.741 --> 00:22:43.621
So she was already skeptical of their bullshit at this point already.

00:22:43.869 --> 00:22:51.670
And thank God, she took that baby with her and contacted DCS that night and asked them to take custody of the baby.

00:22:51.670 --> 00:22:53.093
Dcs that night and asked them to take custody of the baby.

00:22:53.093 --> 00:22:58.835
She further informed them of the possible circumstances of Oakley being taken to the hospital for a head injury.

00:22:58.835 --> 00:23:12.313
Earlier that day, kw informed the detectives that she had previously provided the same information to detectives with the scso.

00:23:12.313 --> 00:23:23.858
Kw further stated that on the night of march 3rd 2023, madison arrived at her residence asking if she could stay there.

00:23:23.858 --> 00:23:30.977
Kw told her that she could stay only if she told her where oakley was.

00:23:30.977 --> 00:23:34.364
Madison refused and left her property on foot.

00:23:35.130 --> 00:23:39.882
Kw had not seen or spoken to Madison since that time.

00:23:39.882 --> 00:23:51.464
However, she recalled visiting Rowan and Madison at 305 Albany Street back in late January when they had first arrived in Indianapolis.

00:23:51.464 --> 00:23:59.598
In late January, when they had first arrived in Indianapolis, she observed both Oakley and the baby to be present at their house that day.

00:23:59.598 --> 00:24:03.695
She additionally observed Madison assisting Oakley helping her use the bathroom.

00:24:03.695 --> 00:24:08.960
At one point, kw saw bruising along Oakley's legs.

00:24:08.960 --> 00:24:14.583
She immediately confronted both of them as to the source of Oakley's visible injuries.

00:24:14.583 --> 00:24:19.577
Roan and Madison both became extremely defensive and ordered her to leave the house.

00:24:21.131 --> 00:24:21.712
His sister.

00:24:21.712 --> 00:24:24.740
Man, she must be somewhat of a decent person.

00:24:24.740 --> 00:24:26.957
She's basically a stranger to these kids.

00:24:26.957 --> 00:24:27.558
You know what I mean.

00:24:27.558 --> 00:24:39.121
And just to have the heart to be reaching out and looking out for these babies at this time, I mean she was even like, yeah, you can stay here, but you got to tell me where that you little girl is.

00:24:39.121 --> 00:24:44.278
Like tell me where she's at, or you can't stay here.

00:24:44.752 --> 00:24:45.420
Good for her.

00:24:45.690 --> 00:24:46.674
Hell yeah, good for her.

00:24:46.674 --> 00:24:52.762
I guess since Oakley's disappearance the sister had made efforts to find out what happened to her.

00:24:52.762 --> 00:25:00.163
She stated that she had visited multiple nearby hospitals, all of which were unable to confirm if Oakley was ever a patient.

00:25:00.163 --> 00:25:11.086
She also spoke with the neighbors of the Albany Street address about any information that may have led to about the day that Oakley was last seen to.

00:25:11.086 --> 00:25:19.963
About the day that Oakley was last seen, one unidentified nearby resident stated that he had last observed Waters and Madison leaving the house with what looked like a child wrapped in a blanket.

00:25:19.963 --> 00:25:24.580
He stated that the child did not appear to be moving, talking or crying.

00:25:25.390 --> 00:25:36.191
Roan's sister, kw, informed detectives that Roan and Madison had told her that they had voluntarily chosen to give up Oakley in Indianapolis.

00:25:36.191 --> 00:25:44.373
She quoted them as collectively saying we handled it and that they had a hard decision to make.

00:25:44.373 --> 00:25:52.093
They were unwilling to provide any further details as to how they had given her up or where she was now.

00:25:52.093 --> 00:25:58.063
Kw believed that they had likely harmed Oakley and that she was in extreme danger.

00:26:04.490 --> 00:26:15.130
Detectives identified Community South Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Riley Hospital for Children as the most likely places that Rowan and Madison could have taken Oakley if she were suffering from a severe physical injury could have taken Oakley if she were suffering from a severe physical injury.

00:26:15.130 --> 00:26:22.846
It was verified through the security offices of both hospitals that Oakley was never a patient there and that they had not located a two-year-old white abandoned female there in 2023.

00:26:23.431 --> 00:26:32.522
Rowan's sister identified Rowan's close friend and roommate at the Albany Street address as a black male known as tennessee.

00:26:32.522 --> 00:26:38.618
She stated that tennessee was present at the house the day that everything happened.

00:26:38.618 --> 00:26:47.758
On march 7, 2023, detectives interviewed tennessee after locating him at the albany street address.

00:26:47.758 --> 00:26:58.204
He stated that he had been friends with ronan madison and recalled when he intermittently resided at the residence back in late January of 2023.

00:26:58.204 --> 00:27:02.059
Tennessee stated that Roan and Madison were drug users.

00:27:02.059 --> 00:27:09.023
They typically snorted heroin, which would cause them to be non-functioning for prolonged periods of time.

00:27:09.023 --> 00:27:15.373
He further described Roan and Madison's care towards the children as relatively inattentive.

00:27:15.373 --> 00:27:22.094
They rarely fed or held them and instead would place them in front of the TV for the majority of the day.

00:27:22.094 --> 00:27:26.263
He never saw them provide the children with any love or affection.

00:27:26.263 --> 00:27:32.343
However, tennessee did observe bruising on Oakley's leg prior to her disappearance.

00:27:33.849 --> 00:27:37.041
Tennessee also remembered seeing Oakley earlier in the day on February 9th.

00:27:37.041 --> 00:27:43.661
She walked up to him when he first entered the Albany Street residence that morning and she allowed him to pick her up.

00:27:43.661 --> 00:27:47.477
However, he noticed she was wearing makeup around her eyes and mouth.

00:27:47.477 --> 00:27:52.500
He had never seen her wear makeup before and it appeared that had been applied by an adult.

00:27:52.500 --> 00:27:57.721
He also noticed a line going from her bottom lip to her chin that resembled a bruise.

00:27:57.721 --> 00:28:01.140
He then left the house and did not return until later that day.

00:28:01.140 --> 00:28:03.657
This was the last time he saw Oakley.

00:28:03.657 --> 00:28:09.061
Later that day he observed Rowan briefly arrive at Brandy's nearby place of employment.

00:28:09.061 --> 00:28:11.798
Tennessee was also visiting there at that time.

00:28:27.170 --> 00:28:27.790
Rowan seemed in a rush.

00:28:27.790 --> 00:28:28.511
He was also close friends with.

00:28:28.511 --> 00:28:35.023
He remembered B Waters receiving a call from Brandy later that afternoon in which she was extremely upset.

00:28:35.023 --> 00:28:43.644
B Waters responded by saying I don't know what the fuck Rowan has going on, but you all need to deal with it.

00:28:43.644 --> 00:28:46.057
B Waters then hung up the phone.

00:28:46.057 --> 00:28:54.824
Tennessee stated that he would not tell him what the call was about that day and had since become much more distant towards him.

00:28:55.710 --> 00:28:57.897
Later that night Tennessee returned to Albany Street.

00:28:57.897 --> 00:29:03.001
He witnessed both Rowan and Madison there without either of their children.

00:29:03.001 --> 00:29:06.859
Both of them seemed high on drugs to the point of being incapacitated.

00:29:06.859 --> 00:29:10.000
And it seemed like they was just getting fucked up.

00:29:10.000 --> 00:29:18.521
And you can't have two heroin addicts snorting heroin and nodding off, constantly trying to take care of a three-month-old and a one-year-old?

00:29:18.583 --> 00:29:19.344
A one-year-old?

00:29:19.344 --> 00:29:20.625
No, that don't happen.

00:29:20.625 --> 00:29:28.279
On March 18th 2023, zach recontacted the detectives.

00:29:28.279 --> 00:29:37.935
He informed them that he had identified an additional Facebook account that he believed Madison was now actively using.

00:29:37.935 --> 00:29:48.817
He was Facebook friends with a BT who was previously identified Facebook account.

00:29:48.817 --> 00:30:00.058
Because of this, he was able to view additional content within BT's profile to include the post made to her timeline in recent days.

00:30:00.058 --> 00:30:07.615
Zach provided details with screenshots that he had taken on his phone of BT's Facebook timeline.

00:30:07.615 --> 00:30:17.413
The screenshot showed a post on March 4th 2023 from a Facebook account maintaining the username Bunny Cooper.

00:30:18.836 --> 00:30:23.123
The post specifically said and stated text me ASAP.

00:30:23.123 --> 00:30:30.083
With a smiley face with hearts, zach stated that he was confident that the Facebook account belonged to Madison.

00:30:30.083 --> 00:30:33.880
He explained that Bunny was a nickname that her friend used for Madison.

00:30:33.880 --> 00:30:37.661
Furthermore, cooper was her father's last name and her former maiden name.

00:30:37.661 --> 00:30:39.978
I bet this dude was just flipping out man.

00:30:39.978 --> 00:30:41.135
His babies are missing.

00:30:41.135 --> 00:30:43.096
He's off with this dude.

00:30:43.096 --> 00:30:44.375
It's smacking him all the time.

00:30:44.375 --> 00:30:46.060
The poor dude was going nuts, I'm sure.

00:30:46.826 --> 00:30:48.672
Oh, absolutely, and it looks like.

00:30:48.672 --> 00:30:55.545
Oh, Miss Madison Marshall was married and divorced.

00:30:55.545 --> 00:30:58.194
You see that.

00:30:58.255 --> 00:30:58.576
Yeah.

00:30:59.711 --> 00:31:01.416
Because her maiden name is Cooper.

00:31:01.678 --> 00:31:08.587
But anyway, he was avidly playing detective man going through you know Facebook friends that she could have had used to have and everything.

00:31:08.587 --> 00:31:09.349
He even knew nicknames.

00:31:09.349 --> 00:31:11.631
He was searching everything you know he was.

00:31:12.112 --> 00:31:23.445
On March 23, 2023, members of the FBI Charlotte Field Office located Madison at her friend's confirmed residence in Bunn-Level, north Carolina.

00:31:23.445 --> 00:31:32.251
Upon her arrest, task force officers and the FBI presented Marshall with her Miranda rights and the FBI presented Marshall with her Miranda rights.

00:31:32.251 --> 00:31:38.333
She understood her rights and voluntarily waived them by signing an advice of rights form.

00:31:38.333 --> 00:31:48.615
Madison ultimately told the task force officer that Roan had killed Oakley at approximately 1.30 pm on February 9th 2023.

00:31:49.115 --> 00:31:55.097
Boom, she spilled the beans instantly because at this point they were just looking to where they had abandoned the kids at.

00:31:55.097 --> 00:32:03.078
I mean, they really didn't have any idea if they had sold them or they had been kidnapped or they had dropped them off somewhere.

00:32:03.078 --> 00:32:03.920
They had no clue.

00:32:03.920 --> 00:32:07.401
And then, boom, they get her and she immediately says Rowan killed her.

00:32:08.361 --> 00:32:08.901
Instantly.

00:32:10.221 --> 00:32:18.682
In her first interview, madison had been in the kitchen of the Albany Street Indianapolis residence when Rowan entered, holding Oakley.

00:32:18.682 --> 00:32:22.104
Oakley was no longer wearing clothes and was not responsive.

00:32:22.104 --> 00:32:28.465
Rowan initially tried to put her in the bathtub to immerse her in cold water, in the hopes of reviving her.

00:32:28.465 --> 00:32:36.528
When that failed, he wrapped Oakley in a pink and black colored blanket that had hearts on it and had put her in a rear passenger seat of his Dodge Durango.

00:32:37.347 --> 00:32:42.808
Now, before departing, he informed Madison that he intended to take Oakley to the hospital.

00:32:42.808 --> 00:32:52.345
She stated that she tried to call 911 as Oakley appeared to be dying, but Rowan struck her hand hard enough to knock the phone out of her hands.

00:32:52.345 --> 00:32:54.913
He then disconnected the call.

00:32:54.913 --> 00:33:00.250
Madison stated that Rowan returned approximately an hour and a half later.

00:33:00.250 --> 00:33:12.233
He had only had the blanket that Oakley had previously been wrapped in, and he stated that he left her body in the naked woods.

00:33:12.233 --> 00:33:14.556
Now, remember, this is her first interview.

00:33:14.855 --> 00:33:18.420
Right and knowing what we know now, she was only telling about half the truth.

00:33:18.839 --> 00:33:19.221
Right.

00:33:19.941 --> 00:33:24.905
Rowan informed her that he had taken Oakley to his grandparents' property in Martinsville, indiana.

00:33:24.905 --> 00:33:32.198
He further explained that he had laid Oakley's body in the woods somewhere on their property.

00:33:32.198 --> 00:33:36.961
Madison stated that it could have been in an abandoned house either on or near the area.

00:33:36.961 --> 00:33:45.951
Based on her recollection of Rowan's explanation that day and the days that followed, she said that she was unfamiliar with his family outside of his mother and siblings.

00:33:45.951 --> 00:33:52.223
She claimed that she had neither met his grandparents nor had she ever been to the Martinsville address he spoke of.

00:33:52.990 --> 00:34:01.894
The FBI and IMPD determined that day that Rowan did indeed have family that currently resided in Martinsville, Indiana.

00:34:02.616 --> 00:34:07.712
They identified the property owners as Rowan Waters' grandparents from Martinsville, Indiana.

00:34:07.712 --> 00:34:13.891
The detectives traveled to the location on Redbud Lane that night and made contact with the grandparents.

00:34:13.891 --> 00:34:18.240
They confirmed that the Redbud Lane was their residential home address.

00:34:18.240 --> 00:34:34.570
The residence of Sedwick Road was located just north of their home within the same property boundaries and had previously inhabited by Rowan's great-grandparents before they had died decades earlier, then explained how they now owned both properties.

00:34:35.132 --> 00:34:41.914
The grandfather stated that he was Rowan's step-grandfather when Rowan and his siblings were children.

00:34:41.914 --> 00:34:47.231
They had come to their home many times on Redbud Lane and played in the woods around their property.

00:34:47.231 --> 00:35:06.168
They had not seen Rowan in several years, though they did not recall seeing or hearing from him in February of 2023, nor did they ever observe a Dodge Durango on their property in February or any time thereafter.

00:35:06.168 --> 00:35:14.284
However, they explained that their property between Redbud and Sedwick was over 20 acres and heavily wooded.

00:35:14.284 --> 00:35:27.601
They said it was possible he could have came down there to either of the properties during that time without their knowledge, and they had never seen Oakley and were unaware of her disappearance.

00:35:28.210 --> 00:35:29.275
Oh, that's highly possible.

00:35:29.275 --> 00:35:32.416
I've been out in that area, man, and it is heavily wooded.

00:35:32.416 --> 00:35:33.721
It's beautiful out there actually.

00:35:33.721 --> 00:35:41.324
Rowan's grandparents also provided verbal consent for the investigators to search their properties of Redbud Lane and Sedgwick Road.

00:35:41.324 --> 00:35:49.398
Detectives and the assisting police officers and deputies from the Morgan County Indiana sheriffs were unable to locate Oakley that night.

00:35:50.059 --> 00:35:55.126
On April 4, 2023, detective spoke with Rowan's sister, kw.

00:35:55.126 --> 00:36:00.400
He asked her if she had any family residing in Martinsville, indiana.

00:36:00.400 --> 00:36:05.282
She immediately named her grandparents and their residence on Redbud Lane.

00:36:05.282 --> 00:36:12.300
She stated that Rowan was very familiar with their property due to how often they would play there as children.

00:36:12.300 --> 00:36:24.643
She and Rowan had various locations within the wooded area that they liked to go, including hollowed out trees, deer stands, sheds and other enclosures on the property.

00:36:25.931 --> 00:36:39.340
On April 5, 2023, the MCSC authorized warrants to seize and search the cellular telephone from Tennessee, as well as the cellular phone that belonged to Brandy.

00:36:39.340 --> 00:36:50.777
The MCSC also issued a warrant for investigators to search the Albany Street, indianapolis address for the pink and black colored blanket that Oakley's body had been wrapped up in.

00:36:51.539 --> 00:36:59.992
On April 6, 2023, detectives executed the search warrant at the Albany Street residence to recover the pink and black blanket.

00:36:59.992 --> 00:37:09.737
Tennessee was present at the house during its execution and recalled seeing a blanket that matched its description when Rowan had lived there with Madison and her kids.

00:37:09.737 --> 00:37:13.585
However, investigators were unable to find it that day.

00:37:14.612 --> 00:37:22.961
On April 5, 2023, tennessee was re-interviewed and this time he provided additional details about the events that transpired on February 9.

00:37:22.961 --> 00:37:32.697
He admitted to receiving a phone call from Madison that afternoon saying that Oakley had been hurt and that he needed to return to the Albany Street address.

00:37:32.697 --> 00:37:38.315
He remembered her voice being matter-of-fact, saying that he needed to bring the Durango back home for them.

00:37:38.315 --> 00:37:42.108
Upon his arrival home, he did not see Oakley, however.

00:37:42.108 --> 00:37:44.576
Rowan told him multiple times that he fucked up.

00:37:44.576 --> 00:37:50.097
He recalled taking custody of the baby while both of them left the house for several hours.

00:37:50.097 --> 00:37:54.695
They returned alone and Tennessee was still unaware of Oakley's whereabouts.

00:37:54.695 --> 00:37:58.210
At the conclusion of the interview, detectives seized his phone.

00:37:59.072 --> 00:38:06.572
As Tennessee was providing the above statement, brandy Pearson, rowan's mother, was being re-interviewed.

00:38:06.572 --> 00:38:15.846
She ultimately provided clearer details about the series of events that transpired on February 9th 2023.

00:38:15.846 --> 00:38:21.902
She stated that Rowan had called her in the mid-afternoon of February 9th.

00:38:21.902 --> 00:38:32.240
He seemed to panic and told her that he had to take Oakley to the emergency room because she had fallen off a bouncy ball and hit her head room because she had fallen off a bouncy ball and hit her head.

00:38:32.240 --> 00:38:38.126
He did not ask her for anything at that time and seemed to only want to notify her of the situation.

00:38:38.849 --> 00:38:53.666
Brandy could tell that he was inside of a vehicle when he made the call because she could hear his voice echo as if he was currently sitting in a small enclosed place.

00:38:53.666 --> 00:38:57.414
She could also hear a female speaking to him in the background.

00:38:57.414 --> 00:39:03.594
She strongly believed that this female was madison and that she was in the vehicle with him.

00:39:03.594 --> 00:39:08.023
She could not recall if the female's voice also sound panicked.

00:39:08.023 --> 00:39:15.523
Brandy recalled that tennessee told her that he was home alone watching the baby.

00:39:16.393 --> 00:39:18.057
Brandy then picked the baby up.

00:39:18.057 --> 00:39:25.396
She brought the baby to her place of employment while she waited for rowan's sister, kw, to arrive to take custody of him.

00:39:25.396 --> 00:39:34.690
Hours later, rowan called his mother back, he stated that madison had made the decision to abandon Oakley at the hospital.

00:39:34.690 --> 00:39:41.563
He provided no further details and become agitated when she tried to question him further on this.

00:39:41.563 --> 00:39:52.565
Detectives asked Brandy if she had any prior knowledge of the circumstances of Oakley's disappearance that she had not previously disclosed to IMPD or the FBI.

00:39:52.565 --> 00:40:06.302
They showed her the records from her 2483 cell phone to emphasize that recurring and frequent contacts she had with Roan that day surrounding the likely time that Oakley was harmed.

00:40:08.391 --> 00:40:10.237
You notice something funny about these interviews.

00:40:10.237 --> 00:40:12.193
You can just tell it keeps saying.

00:40:12.193 --> 00:40:23.204
It says re-interviewed and the first interview it seems like they were letting out a little bit of information here just enough to pacify that we don't know shit.

00:40:23.204 --> 00:40:23.885
You know what I mean.

00:40:23.885 --> 00:40:28.161
And then, when they're re-interviewed, a little bit of more shit comes out.

00:40:31.032 --> 00:40:37.320
They're just making themselves look guilty because if I was in a room for something that serious I'd spill everything I knew.

00:40:37.320 --> 00:40:44.460
Now brandy denied knowing any further details, but believe it was possible that roan could have harmed oakley.

00:40:44.460 --> 00:41:02.994
Detectives next asked brandy if she had members of her family secure the whereabouts of Madison and return her to Indianapolis following Roan's arrest in Colorado, because she feared that Madison would report to the police what had actually happened to Oakley.

00:41:02.994 --> 00:41:19.199
Detectives asked if Madison had confided to her information regarding her son's culpability in Oakley's demise, which was why Madison was suddenly taken to the Greyhound bus station to ensure that she left the state.

00:41:19.791 --> 00:41:21.157
What do you think about that shit?

00:41:21.550 --> 00:41:23.155
The cops were already on to it.

00:41:23.516 --> 00:41:24.760
Yeah, so I mean.

00:41:25.931 --> 00:41:28.679
She wanted her out of this state, so nobody could find her.

00:41:28.679 --> 00:41:33.420
So that's why she put her on the Greyhound bus.

00:41:33.420 --> 00:41:37.780
Rowan was locked up in Colorado and she was trying to get rid of her.

00:41:39.630 --> 00:41:42.878
See, when people start getting locked up, other people start talking.

00:41:42.878 --> 00:41:43.601
You notice that?

00:41:43.601 --> 00:41:46.811
Yeah, Quickly Now.

00:41:46.811 --> 00:41:53.157
Brandi did admit buying a cell phone for Madison before she left, but denied paying for the ticket.

00:41:53.157 --> 00:41:57.840
She again denied any further knowledge as to what happened to Oakley or where she was now.

00:41:57.840 --> 00:42:04.202
Detectives then asked Brandy if she would be willing to take a polygraph test as to the truthfulness of her statement that day.

00:42:04.202 --> 00:42:10.702
She initially agreed and was introduced to the FBI Indianapolis certified polygrapher by the special agent.

00:42:10.702 --> 00:42:15.376
Brandy then requested to consult with her attorney by way of cell phone call.

00:42:15.635 --> 00:42:16.659
I bet she did.

00:42:16.739 --> 00:42:17.740
I bet she did.

00:42:17.740 --> 00:42:18.402
Yeah, I'll take it.

00:42:18.402 --> 00:42:19.411
Oh, here's the FBI.

00:42:19.411 --> 00:42:22.920
Let me talk to my attorney right, quick, Real quick, before I do this.

00:42:22.920 --> 00:42:28.547
After a private consultation, brandi informed the detectives that she now declined to submit to the test.

00:42:28.547 --> 00:42:33.005
They then served her with a warrant to seize her 2483 cell phone.

00:42:33.876 --> 00:42:38.507
Oh, you know she had no intentions on ever taking that polygraph.

00:42:38.507 --> 00:42:42.445
She was hoping, oh, I'll just say yeah and they'll schedule me for another day.

00:42:42.445 --> 00:42:45.164
They didn't know they was going to hit her with oh well, here he is.

00:42:45.315 --> 00:42:47.275
Yeah, they called her bluff like right from the gate.

00:42:47.275 --> 00:42:48.619
It's like one of them interviews.

00:42:48.619 --> 00:42:50.920
You see, would you be willing to take a polygraph test?

00:42:50.920 --> 00:42:52.675
Well, yes, I would Damn it.

00:42:52.675 --> 00:42:53.922
I didn't think he said he would.

00:42:55.936 --> 00:43:00.864
So detectives were provided with the details of Madison's second statement.

00:43:00.864 --> 00:43:12.835
Detectives and members of the INPD and FBI immediately searched many various areas of Martinsville, indiana, in the days and weeks that followed.

00:43:12.835 --> 00:43:17.387
This was all done without initial success of locating Oakley.

00:43:17.387 --> 00:43:28.230
These efforts included coordination with local law enforcement agencies, a multitude of interviews of local residents living in the area and surrounding Redbud Lane.

00:43:29.175 --> 00:43:36.795
On April 20th 2023, officers extradited Madison back to Indianapolis, Indiana, for charges of neglect.

00:43:37.735 --> 00:43:51.367
On April 21st 2023, detectives and special agents took temporary custody of Madison for the purposes of re-interviewing her about her knowledge and involvement in Oakley's disappearance.

00:43:51.795 --> 00:43:54.123
Here's where the truth really starts coming out.

00:43:54.755 --> 00:43:58.286
Madison was presented with an advice of rights form.

00:43:58.286 --> 00:44:03.987
She stated she understood her rights and voluntarily waived them by signing the form.

00:44:03.987 --> 00:44:08.346
They next drove her to Albany Street.

00:44:08.346 --> 00:44:20.771
Marshall immediately recognized the residence as the house she had stayed in with Rowan and Tennessee and her children during portions of January and February of 2023.

00:44:20.771 --> 00:44:26.567
She also mentioned that Rowan's brother had occasionally stayed at the residence as well.

00:44:26.567 --> 00:44:35.630
She explained that there was a TV just to the right of the front door, which hung over the two front windows of the house.

00:44:36.315 --> 00:44:41.628
If you turned left from the front door, you entered the dining room, which connected to a small living room.

00:44:41.628 --> 00:44:44.396
The first floor bedroom opened to this living room.

00:44:44.396 --> 00:44:46.177
The first floor bedroom opened to this living room.

00:44:46.177 --> 00:44:58.385
The living room was also connected to a small hallway that led to a full bathroom, kitchen, access to stairway to the second floor and then access to the basement.

00:44:58.385 --> 00:45:09.213
Rowan and Madison had shared the first floor bedroom, while Oakley had slept on a cot in the living room and the baby slept in a pack and play that was kept in the same room.

00:45:09.213 --> 00:45:16.646
Marshall then once again provided a statement as to the events that transpired on February 9th 2023.

00:45:17.257 --> 00:45:23.965
She recalled the ongoing physical abuse that Oakley had endured at the hands of Rowan in the months leading up to her death.

00:45:23.965 --> 00:45:28.838
He would frequently whoop or spank her as a form of discipline.

00:45:28.838 --> 00:45:31.844
He had also occasionally choked her out.

00:45:31.844 --> 00:45:33.429
Jeez man, a two-year-old.

00:45:33.429 --> 00:45:36.721
How in the fuck do you choke a two-year-old out?

00:45:37.461 --> 00:45:38.264
I don't know.

00:45:39.326 --> 00:45:40.648
I mean in all reality.

00:45:40.648 --> 00:45:45.141
I mean Madison should have got her fucking shit and her kids and left right.

00:45:45.141 --> 00:45:48.188
Then I mean you see your little two-year-old getting choked out.

00:45:48.568 --> 00:45:55.532
She should have never even went back to him after he busted her lip back in October of the previous year.

00:45:55.552 --> 00:45:57.152
Yeah, you open-hand smack.

00:45:57.152 --> 00:46:00.867
I don't know if Oakley was two at this point in time.

00:46:01.054 --> 00:46:02.722
No, she was just like one and a half.

00:46:03.074 --> 00:46:07.286
You open-hand smack a baby that age enough to bust the inside of her lip.

00:46:08.018 --> 00:46:08.954
He needs his ass whipped.

00:46:08.994 --> 00:46:13.144
I mean that's strike one and then you smack the shit out of her and choke her out.

00:46:13.144 --> 00:46:20.889
I mean, it just kind of goes to show what holds drugs, and you know, fake reality can do for you, I guess.

00:46:20.889 --> 00:46:35.844
Anyway, that's the excuses that he gave to this type of discipline included her crying and urinating in her diaper, oh, and holding a fork the wrong way, and you know common behavior of a toddler.

00:46:35.844 --> 00:46:39.605
The abuse was so bad that Oakley stopped eating around Rowan.

00:46:39.605 --> 00:46:49.954
This was because he regularly became aggressive with her when she would not eat the pace that he wanted her to eat to, became aggressive with her when she would not eat the pace that he wanted her to eat to.

00:46:49.954 --> 00:46:54.005
Madison attempted time and time again to explain to him that she was only two years old and she did not understand what he was wanting her to do.

00:46:54.005 --> 00:47:02.222
However, his physical abuse toward Oakley would often get redirected towards Madison if she would attempt to interfere with it.

00:47:02.836 --> 00:47:09.038
She remembered having separate occasions and conversations with Rowan's brother and sister about the abuse.

00:47:09.038 --> 00:47:15.820
She specifically asked Rowan's brother to talk to him on about February 8, 2023.

00:47:15.820 --> 00:47:18.344
The day before Oakley is murdered.

00:47:18.344 --> 00:47:29.949
Rowan's brother came to the house at Albany Street and argued with Rowan Waters in front of the house on the lawn, but his brother shortly left after that without finding a resolution to it.

00:47:31.835 --> 00:47:39.670
On the morning of February 9th 2023, madison and Rowan woke up to Oakley crying because she was hungry.

00:47:39.670 --> 00:47:48.266
Rowan threw Oakley onto the floor in response to this, due to her crying had agitated him.

00:47:48.266 --> 00:47:55.103
Her head's impact with the floor had caused oakley to have a red bump above her right eye.

00:47:55.103 --> 00:48:01.081
Madison applied some of her own makeup to oakley's face to try to hide the bruise.

00:48:01.081 --> 00:48:06.809
Tennessee came downstairs at some point that day and socialized with them.

00:48:06.809 --> 00:48:14.469
Madison prepared some ramen noodles for Oakley as a snack because she was hungry.

00:48:14.469 --> 00:48:18.545
Madison then started preparing lunch for everyone.

00:48:18.545 --> 00:48:23.347
Tennessee said that he was going to the gas station to get some Swisher cigars.

00:48:23.347 --> 00:48:29.724
Oakley initially tried to follow him out of the house, but he stopped her and told her that he would be right back.

00:48:29.724 --> 00:48:33.945
Oakley next entered the kitchen and said Mama, eat.

00:48:33.945 --> 00:48:38.862
Madison told her that she was making them all food and to wait in the other room.

00:48:38.862 --> 00:48:46.304
Oakley then walked into the living room where Rowan was watching TV while the baby laid on the floor in front of him.

00:48:47.456 --> 00:48:51.146
Shortly thereafter, madison began hearing Rowan yell at Oakley.

00:48:51.146 --> 00:48:54.385
He was specifically ordering her to bounce on the bouncy ball.

00:48:54.385 --> 00:48:57.925
Madison described the ball as being made of rubber and inflatable.

00:48:57.925 --> 00:49:03.324
It maintained a handle on top of it which allowed kids to lightly bounce up and down as they sat on it.

00:49:03.324 --> 00:49:08.559
Madison further stated Oakley had likely been too small to sit on it by herself.

00:49:08.559 --> 00:49:14.179
She recalled hearing Rowan's voice continually get louder and angry as he told her to bounce.

00:49:14.179 --> 00:49:21.302
Madison yelled back at him multiple times to calm down and that Oakley probably didn't understand what he was wanting her to do.

00:49:21.302 --> 00:49:28.447
After the fifth and loudest time that he yelled at her, madison stopped what she was doing in the kitchen and walked into the living room.

00:49:28.447 --> 00:49:34.047
She observed Rowan standing over Oakley as she sat trying to bounce on the ball.

00:49:34.047 --> 00:49:38.666
Rowan told Madison to quit coming in there and sat back down on the couch.

00:49:38.666 --> 00:49:46.509
Madison took his retreat as the matter being resolved, so she went back to the kitchen to prepare their meal.

00:49:47.375 --> 00:49:53.695
Madison did not recall hearing anything else from the living room until approximately 10 minutes later.

00:49:53.695 --> 00:49:57.063
At that time, Rowan screamed for her twice.

00:49:57.063 --> 00:50:00.028
She had never heard Rowan sound like that before.

00:50:00.028 --> 00:50:02.701
She immediately ran towards the living room.

00:50:02.701 --> 00:50:06.271
She met him in the hallway as he held oakley in his arms.

00:50:06.271 --> 00:50:08.938
She saw that oakley was not moving.

00:50:08.938 --> 00:50:14.130
Rowan began saying that he didn't do anything and it wasn't his fault.

00:50:14.130 --> 00:50:20.023
He initially refused to let madison take oakley from him and stripped off her clothes.

00:50:20.023 --> 00:50:26.625
Madison could see oakley's stomach and chest cavity extend as if she was trying to breathe there.

00:50:26.625 --> 00:50:38.541
However, she observed what appeared to be a mix of blood and spit dripping from her mouth when she tried to exhale, which created a gurgling sound.

00:50:38.541 --> 00:50:41.869
Oakley's eyes remained closed throughout this time.

00:50:41.869 --> 00:50:48.775
Rome placed her in a nearby bathtub and attempted to douse her in cold water to wake her up.

00:50:48.775 --> 00:50:54.606
When that failed, he brought Oakley into their bedroom and handed her to Madison.

00:50:55.389 --> 00:50:59.585
Rowan seen Madison attempting to call 911 and slapped the phone from her hands.

00:50:59.585 --> 00:51:01.295
He then took control of the cell phone.

00:51:01.295 --> 00:51:05.230
Madison could tell Oakley was dying and at some point Rowan returned the phone to her and she called Tennessee to tell him that something had happened to Oakley was dying.

00:51:05.230 --> 00:51:11.536
And at some point Rowan returned the phone to her and she called Tennessee to tell him that something had happened to Oakley and that he needed to come home.

00:51:11.536 --> 00:51:15.286
When he entered minutes later he stated I knew I shouldn't have left.

00:51:15.286 --> 00:51:20.967
Madison explained to this that he knew he shouldn't have left Rowan alone with Oakley.

00:51:20.967 --> 00:51:28.889
This was because he had likely heard and been aware of the physical abuse that Rowan had continually inflicted on her since moving to the Albany Street address.

00:51:29.514 --> 00:51:34.588
Rowan next wrapped Oakley in a blanket that his mother, brandy, had recently purchased.

00:51:34.588 --> 00:51:39.106
Madison described the blanket as being pink and black, with flowers on it.

00:51:39.106 --> 00:51:43.646
She also added that it was a Victoria's Secret brand blanket.

00:51:43.646 --> 00:51:48.336
Victoria's Secret brand blanket.

00:51:48.336 --> 00:51:52.231
Rowan placed Oakley in the back seat of the Durango so that her feet were facing the driver's side and her head was towards the passenger side.

00:51:52.231 --> 00:51:58.190
He entered the driver's seat and Madison entered the rear passenger seat to be with Oakley.

00:51:58.190 --> 00:52:03.376
She held Oakley in her lap and occasionally opened the blanket to examine her.

00:52:03.376 --> 00:52:09.478
By this time, oakley had stopped trying to breathe and her lips had become blue.

00:52:09.478 --> 00:52:14.440
Madison felt her skin, which now seemed to be cool to the touch.

00:52:14.440 --> 00:52:25.242
She could no longer feel a heartbeat as she held her to further examine her, but saw no movement or response in them.

00:52:25.242 --> 00:52:32.264
She held Oakley's hand before eventually climbing up in the front seat next to Rowan.

00:52:32.784 --> 00:52:39.806
I mean, what is your hit the stop button on this whole fucking fantasy reality point in this.

00:52:39.806 --> 00:52:40.507
You know what I mean.

00:52:40.507 --> 00:52:46.409
It should have been when he was choking her out, or all the beatings and shit the first couple times.

00:52:47.030 --> 00:52:47.949
The first time.

00:52:47.949 --> 00:52:49.791
Yeah, your one-year-old little baby.

00:52:50.110 --> 00:52:58.373
I mean he's bringing you the baby and the poor little baby is gurgling and obviously I mean you literally say to the police that you could tell that your baby was dying.

00:52:58.373 --> 00:53:00.853
You let this dude smack the phone out of your hand.

00:53:02.635 --> 00:53:08.668
I mean, come on, she could have took that baby and ran out that house, ran down the road next door.

00:53:08.668 --> 00:53:12.385
There's a gas station on every corner in Indianapolis.

00:53:12.385 --> 00:53:17.206
You know she could have got somewhere to call for help for her child.

00:53:17.835 --> 00:53:30.967
I mean honestly, at this very point in time, she could have stopped all this, not been in any trouble, you know, and I mean maybe a little bit of neglect for even being with the dude, I would say at this point.

00:53:31.215 --> 00:53:32.554
And letting him beat on her kids.

00:53:32.775 --> 00:53:38.626
She could have hit the freaking out button at this point any time and probably saved this little girl's life.

00:53:38.626 --> 00:53:39.728
That's horrible.

00:53:40.315 --> 00:53:40.375
Now.

00:53:40.375 --> 00:53:45.186
Roan drove them away from the Albany Street towards what seemed like another town.

00:53:45.186 --> 00:53:48.376
She remembered seeing a sign that said martinsville.

00:53:48.376 --> 00:53:56.177
Now, remember, she is telling detectives the story ours there, in route to look for oakley's body.

00:53:56.177 --> 00:54:09.856
As the detective drove past the ruben drive and hospital road exit on 69 south madison, observed a large concrete pillar that had the word Martinsville over it.

00:54:09.856 --> 00:54:14.795
She stated that this was likely the Martinsville sign that she had first reported seeing.

00:54:14.795 --> 00:54:25.623
During her drive with Roan to dispose of Oakley on February 9th, the police drove Madison past the property of Redbud Lane.

00:54:26.324 --> 00:54:35.307
Madison said the road seemed somewhat familiar but could not positively identify Rowan's grandfather's house that Rowan had attempted to show her in February.

00:54:35.307 --> 00:54:42.847
They two drive southbound on Redbud Lane until they come to a T intersection at Railroad Road.

00:54:42.847 --> 00:54:48.047
Madison became excited and stated she confidently remembered this intersection.

00:54:48.047 --> 00:54:55.880
She told the detectives to turn eastbound on Railroad Road and then south towards the extensive tree line Following this.

00:54:55.880 --> 00:55:02.164
Madison did not seem to recognize any of the terrain features, residents or roads that we traveled past.

00:55:02.164 --> 00:55:06.336
She continued to provide details about the abandoned house where Oakley was left.

00:55:06.396 --> 00:55:12.728
As they drove they eventually turned up South Bear Waller Road, located in Morgantown, indiana.

00:55:12.728 --> 00:55:18.175
Morgantown was directly south of Martinsville and only about 15 minutes from Redbud Lane.

00:55:18.175 --> 00:55:28.356
When searched on Google Maps, detectives directed Madison's attention to the run-down wooden house that sat at the top of a steep hill near a gravel road.

00:55:28.356 --> 00:55:32.224
The gravel road led to two nearby residences.

00:55:32.224 --> 00:55:36.197
Madison immediately stated oh my God, that's it.

00:55:36.197 --> 00:55:43.360
She repeated this several times and added that she was 100% confident that this was the location that they had left Oakley.

00:55:43.360 --> 00:55:46.144
She was hysterically sobbing at this time.

00:55:46.144 --> 00:55:48.369
I bet it was kind of you know.

00:55:49.755 --> 00:55:51.264
She's sober by this point.

00:55:51.264 --> 00:55:52.701
She's been in jail for a minute.

00:55:52.701 --> 00:55:55.175
She's sober by this point, you know.

00:55:55.175 --> 00:55:56.963
I bet it's all hitting her.

00:55:57.182 --> 00:56:14.081
Right Then the emotional state that she had to be in, I mean from seeing the sign in Martinsville and then it's all slowly coming back to her and, like you said, she's sober, her emotions are not numbed, her feelings are not numbed, and this is what she's going through, and it must have been a whirlwind.

00:56:15.215 --> 00:56:25.994
Detectives requested the assistance of IMPD missing persons, lieutenant King, who had been following in his car during the drive that day to remain with Madison.

00:56:25.994 --> 00:56:34.387
While we went to look at the property, detectives climbed the hill and noticed that no Ford Mustang or any other vehicle was parked in front of it.

00:56:34.387 --> 00:56:45.248
However, they noticed ruts along the nearby paved road at the bottom of the hill that showed that something heavy had been towed or dragged away from the premises at some point.

00:56:45.248 --> 00:56:50.340
Heavy had been towed or dragged away from the premises at some point.

00:56:50.340 --> 00:56:57.717
On a further note, the abandoned house had been predominantly made of wood, though not much of its exterior or interior remained.

00:56:57.717 --> 00:57:05.054
It appeared to have been a one-story single family home with an attached garage.

00:57:05.635 --> 00:57:10.827
They circled the exterior while the special agent entered through an opening in the wall.

00:57:10.827 --> 00:57:17.068
The interior was extensively cluttered with trash and debris and was difficult to walk through.

00:57:17.068 --> 00:57:26.869
The special agent strongly smelled a sour odor coming from deeper in the partially exposed living room.

00:57:26.869 --> 00:57:34.043
Detectives neared the kitchen, which shared a wall with the living room, and also smelled the odor.

00:57:34.043 --> 00:57:40.204
They immediately knew it to be the smell of a decomposing body through their training and experience.

00:57:40.204 --> 00:57:47.547
They strongly felt the odor was coming from a wooden dresser leaning against the living room wall near the kitchen.

00:57:47.547 --> 00:57:56.505
Both parties departed from the structure and obtained a warrant from the MCSC to search it for the remains of Oakley.

00:57:57.056 --> 00:57:59.001
At that point they were like we found her.

00:57:59.001 --> 00:57:59.945
You know they were.

00:57:59.945 --> 00:58:11.902
Now the Indiana state police and crime scene investigator arrived within an hour of the warrant, with the warrant being granted, and initiated the taking of photographs of the property.

00:58:11.902 --> 00:58:17.987
Detectives informed him of the nature of the investigation and likelihood that Oakley was in the dresser.

00:58:17.987 --> 00:58:28.800
Csi Russell confirmed upon his further examination of the interior of the residence that the decomposing remains of a small child were in the bottom drawer of the identified dresser.

00:58:28.800 --> 00:58:35.443
Morgan County Coroner arrived at the scene following this and led to the recovery of the child's remains.

00:58:36.164 --> 00:58:43.135
Given the state of the dresser, the upper portion had to be physically removed to not disturb the fragile remains in the bottom shelf.

00:58:43.135 --> 00:58:50.168
Upon removing the upper portion, they could clearly see the decomposing body of what appeared to be an adolescent female.

00:58:50.168 --> 00:59:00.061
A thin board had either fallen or been placed over the body which partially protected her right arm from further the same level of decomposition of the rest of her.

00:59:00.061 --> 00:59:07.706
However, the blonde hair had remained attached to her skull and had been left in a loose ponytail by a black-colored hair tie.

00:59:07.706 --> 00:59:14.708
Additionally, her left leg was clearly broken at the knee so that the left foot rested directly over her chest.

00:59:14.708 --> 00:59:18.304
A blue and white-colored sock was still worn on this foot.

00:59:18.304 --> 00:59:27.570
Given the state of the remains, the coroner advised that the body should be transported intact with the dresser drawer still underneath it.

00:59:27.570 --> 00:59:36.070
They also requested to have the Indiana State Police Lab conduct testing on the drawer for any remaining touch, dna and or fingerprints.

00:59:36.070 --> 00:59:37.726
Gosh, that was hard to read.

00:59:38.208 --> 00:59:52.106
That's horrible so not only did he beat her and kill her when he got her poor body to the old, abandoned house, he just shoved her in the dresser and broke her legs, her leg.

00:59:52.614 --> 00:59:58.514
Yeah, snapped it and wore a poor little baby foot with a little colored sock laid on her chest.

00:59:58.514 --> 01:00:16.476
I mean, you know we read these stories listeners out there and I'm sure you guys listening you get a picture of this shit in your head and that right there is just heart-wrenching.

01:00:16.536 --> 01:00:21.146
Now regarding rowan's family, madison reiterated that she did indeed tell rowan's mother, brandy, that her son had killed her child.

01:00:21.146 --> 01:00:28.748
Brandy was told that after she was brought back to indianapolis, byan's brother BW and his girlfriend DW.

01:00:28.748 --> 01:00:43.391
Brandy responded by defensively telling Madison that Roan had just gotten out of prison and that she was not going to allow Madison to put him back in it.

01:00:43.391 --> 01:00:53.003
To put him back in it, brandy then informed Madison that she would buy her a bus ticket to wherever she wanted to go, with the expectation that she would not return to Indiana.

01:00:53.003 --> 01:00:58.244
Brandy also provided Madison with a cell phone and $200 in cash.

01:00:58.244 --> 01:01:02.902
Madison agreed and accepted the payment before departing to North Carolina.

01:01:03.516 --> 01:01:05.202
Well, she was cheap to buy, wasn't she?

01:01:05.202 --> 01:01:06.802
$200 and a bus ticket.

01:01:06.802 --> 01:01:16.423
On April 24, 2023, detectives attended the autopsy of the recovered adolescent female, which was conducted at the Morgan County Coroner's Office.

01:01:16.423 --> 01:01:27.326
At the conclusion of the autopsy, csi Russell collected the drawer as evidence, packed and sealed it in a cardboard box and secured it in the locked and secured area of the coroner's office.

01:01:27.326 --> 01:01:38.943
On April 25th, detectives returned to the Morgan County Coroner's Office and retrieved the drawer and transported it to ISP Crime Lab in Indianapolis for further testing and examination.

01:01:39.655 --> 01:01:47.976
So it's been two years since Oakley Snow's body was found in that dresser drawer and the fight for justice hasn't let up.

01:01:47.976 --> 01:01:53.407
Madison, marshall and Rowan Waters are still behind bars, waiting for their day in court.

01:01:53.407 --> 01:02:02.742
Madison's original charges were second degree murder, child endangerment and obstruction of justice for her role in Oakley's death and the cover up.

01:02:02.742 --> 01:02:05.467
What exactly is Rowan facing?

01:02:06.215 --> 01:02:09.043
Rowan got a heavier load, as he should have, I think.

01:02:09.043 --> 01:02:11.782
I don't know, I'm kind of mixed up on that, maybe.

01:02:12.637 --> 01:02:13.842
They both should have been even.

01:02:14.135 --> 01:02:16.885
Absolutely, because she could have prevented it.

01:02:16.885 --> 01:02:25.380
And if you could prevent something like that from happening, I mean in this state and nature of this crime, then absolutely she should have been guilty just as much as he was.

01:02:25.380 --> 01:02:31.869
But he was charged with first degree murder, aggravated child abuse, kidnapping and tampering with evidence.

01:02:37.835 --> 01:02:40.139
Prosecutors say he's the one who drove this tragedy from the start, but Madison flipped the script.

01:02:40.139 --> 01:02:47.452
On May 1st 2025, she pleaded guilty to manslaughter and child endangerment as part of a plea deal facing 25 years.

01:02:47.452 --> 01:02:55.518
In exchange, she's set to testify against Rowan in his trial now scheduled for June 9, 2025,.

01:02:55.518 --> 01:03:06.668
After a delay to prepare for her testimony, Madison claims she was under duress controlled by Rowan Court, filings back her story.

01:03:06.668 --> 01:03:09.945
Some see her testimony as a key to nailing Rowan.

01:03:09.945 --> 01:03:13.706
Others think she's just sidestepping what she owes Oakley.

01:03:14.838 --> 01:03:17.797
It's a tough call, man, With Rowan's trial just weeks away.

01:03:17.797 --> 01:03:22.748
Madison's word could unravel what happened to Oakley or bury the truth deeper.

01:03:22.748 --> 01:03:25.298
We're all still waiting on the answers on that one.

01:03:25.860 --> 01:03:30.548
Yeah, do you want to hear a fun fact about Rowan Waters' mom, brandy?

01:03:31.114 --> 01:03:31.195
Sure.

01:03:32.898 --> 01:03:39.628
We have been told that that is allegedly Nick Fortenberry's ex-girlfriend.

01:03:39.628 --> 01:03:44.565
Wow, that's who he was before he got with Brittany, I believe.

01:03:44.565 --> 01:03:50.762
That's an interesting alleged fact, and they're all hemmed up on the car lot rolling back odometer scam.

01:03:50.762 --> 01:03:54.141
You can my case them and look them up.

01:03:54.141 --> 01:03:55.105
They're all hemmed up.

01:03:55.454 --> 01:03:56.882
That's a rabbit hole and a half.

01:03:57.715 --> 01:03:59.119
Oh, it goes so deep.

01:03:59.139 --> 01:04:00.744
That's a rabbit canyon, holy shit.

01:04:02.454 --> 01:04:07.684
But Oakley deserves justice and we're writing this out until it's found for her.

01:04:08.376 --> 01:04:27.367
This was actually supposed to be 69 South's very first episode, that's right, very first episode, and it was so emotional and we were not ready to get the podcast started at that point in time, so I'm kind of glad we saved it till now, where we could see the justice start to unfold.

01:04:27.367 --> 01:04:33.005
I think there should be Charges on more than just those two.

01:04:33.005 --> 01:04:39.981
I mean, you're kind of helping Allude a crime if you know about it and you bullshit the cops in two interviews.

01:04:39.981 --> 01:04:42.782
That's just allegedly, and that's just what one person is saying, though.

01:04:44.114 --> 01:04:49.485
Funny how, though, she ended up at the bus station With a phone $200, and ended up in North Carolina.

01:04:50.065 --> 01:04:51.588
Yeah, like I said, that was cheap.

01:04:52.635 --> 01:04:52.715
Very.

01:04:55.018 --> 01:04:59.485
Well, that about wraps up our Oakley Snow episode for this week.

01:04:59.485 --> 01:05:01.028
We thank you for being with us.

01:05:13.248 --> 01:05:15.735
